Overall I love the serene feeling this portrays. Dappled blue skies, babbling brook and her relaxed pose bring it all together.

It's great to see you played around with some different brushes in the background. The trees are modeled nicely however the grass looks a little too even. Try varying your brushes in size and direction. Even with a gentle wind there is always something not bent the same or going the opposite direction.

The character is well drawn and posed. Black is certainly a challenging colour to work with. You can see where you tried to highlight the sunshine on her fur, though the lighting on the far arm and leg should be a little brighter since it's closer to your source.

I am guessing you are working on one layer or maybe two. There are a few white holes where colour is missing from the canvas all together. I understand the urgency to want to finish something. We all do it but take your time with your colouring. Experiment and play, the joy of digital is "undo" if it doesn't look right <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/>

The only part that really stands out as not feeling finished is the small rocks on the rivers edge. Where most everything else appears lineless or nearly lineless, the rocks definitely have lines and their colour is blending into the sand, making it hard to discern rock from dirt without the lines.

Can definitely see improvement. Keep it up and keep playing^^ Looking forward to more.
